GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Kent County has received an additional $ 513,000 from the state to provide health surveys and meals to up to hundreds of Afghan refugees who can be resettled in the West Michigan area.

On Thursday, November 18, the Kent County Board of Commissioners unanimously accepted two separate grants from the state to provide these services.
